I came to furniture making shortly after finishing my undergraduate degree in sculpture. Some vessel work I was doing at that time with woven woods led me to find a bench space in a cooperative woodshop in Seattle, my hometown. Drawn to functionality and the reclaimed building products I found around the industrial neighborhood of my shop, I started building furniture instead.
Since that time, my work has evolved from smaller works made from salvaged materials to full-scale installations, to my Hoseware production lines.
Many clients use the designs on this site as a starting point for commissioning creations. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about this process, or if you would like to just stop by and check out my shop! |
